Ranking Criteria
Each platform is evaluated on five weighted criteria. The criteria were chosen because they directly affect the financial outcome and safety of a Nigerian TRX seller.

| Rate Accuracy | 15% | Percentage deviation of platform's offered TRX/NGN rate versus the live CoinGecko aggregate rate at time of test. Lower deviation scores higher. |
| Security | 10% | Encryption standard, 2FA policy, public track record of fund safety, and operational history. |
Our Review Process
Platform Identification
We identify platforms that offer TRX-to-NGN conversions and have a meaningful user base in Nigeria. Platforms must be operational at time of review.
Account Creation & Testing
We create user accounts and conduct test transactions where feasible. Fee structures are verified by reading platform documentation and live transaction tests.
Regulatory Verification
SEC Nigeria licensing status is verified via the official SEC Nigeria website. We do not accept platforms' self-reported compliance claims without verification.
Rate Accuracy Assessment
We compare each platform's offered rate against the CoinGecko TRX/NGN aggregate rate at the same timestamp, repeated across multiple time periods.
Scoring & Ranking
Platforms are scored 1–10 on each criterion, weighted by the percentages in the table above, and ranked by total weighted score.
Quarterly Review
Rankings are reviewed quarterly — or immediately when a platform changes fees, loses regulatory status, or has a material security incident.
